I've been a Mexican folk art collector and traveler to Mexico for over 30 years. I've developed an expertise on where to go and how to find outstanding folk art for my shop and my own collection.

I love a variety of hotels from economical to high end in seven of the folk art producing states of Mexico (and in Europe and the US). I search for both established and new artisans who are committed to craftsmanship and creativity. I'm not interested in mass produced tourist merchandise! I love visiting Mexico's numerous museums and eating great food whether in fine restaurants or established street vendor tours and markets. I'm experienced with all types of Mexican transportation including taxis, buses, planes, rented cars, metros and private drivers. I often travel alone on buying trips but love going with family and friends!
