The island of Grenada has a rich history of culture, beauty, charm and let's not forget spice! There are so many options for travelers that you really can't go wrong visiting. Grenada can be more relaxed, but does not fall short in activities. One can definitely immerse oneself in everything Grenada has to offer.

Grenada is dear to my heart, as this is where I spent much of my childhood, with my parents hailing from Carriacou. Returning to this beautiful island after experiencing the devastation of Hurricane Beryl in 2024 was deeply emotional, but the warm welcome I received at Six Senses made all the difference. The staff embraced us like family, providing a comforting refuge during a difficult time. During my stay, I had the privilege of conducting a site inspection, which allowed me to fully appreciate the resort’s commitment to sustainability, luxury and genuine hospitality.

Grenada, well known as the Isle of Spice, is a great destination with its incredible beaches, spicy nature and friendly people. It is the perfect getaway where you can explore, relax on the beach and enjoy the island vibe without being overwhelmed by large groups of tourists.

The island shines as a model for eco-friendly travel, with its protected areas like Grand Etang National Park and the Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park ensuring the preservation of its natural beauty and biodiversity. For me, Grenada embodies the perfect blend of personal heritage and progressive eco-consciousness, making every visit a celebration of both family roots and environmental stewardship.
