During the summer of 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to stay at this breathtaking new safari camp nestled in Northern Kenya. From the accommodations to the cuisine, service and activities, every aspect surpassed my wildest expectations. Without a doubt, this was one of the most remarkable places I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning, and I wouldn't hesitate to enthusiastically recommend it to friends, family, and clients.

While many view Nairobi as an overnight pitstop location en route to safari destinations throughout Kenya and beyond, Nairobi is a diverse, energetic city with tons to do. I've been lucky enough to visit multiple times (my old college roommate lives there) and explored through the eyes of a local.

Tribe Hotel is a stylish, luxury boutique hotel in a great part of Nairobi with beautiful African art and modern design features. Whether you're in Kenya for safari and wildlife, for city highlights, for food and culture and history, or for business travel, Tribe is an excellent place to stay.

August 2021 was a special time for me as I celebrated my husband Sharif's 50th birthday in the Masa Mara in Kenya, which was his dream vacation. I went all out when travel planning and decided to stay at this 5-star lodge known for its contemporary bungalow tents, outstanding service and quiet atmosphere. The staff made my husband's birthday unforgettable and our time spent here was one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. We dream of staying at Leopard Hill again and taking our second safari all the time. When I first visited Nairobi Kenya, it was truly life-changing. I went with a small group and it was both philanthropic (we raised money for The David Sheldrick Foundation and Big Life Foundation) and a magical vacation. We visited the Sheldrick Elephant orphanage, spent time with the Samburu tribe and had the wonder of The Maasai join us for dinner in the Bush. As a tourist to Kenya, there’s always so much to do, yet so little time. With that in mind, here’s a bucket list of what you do not want to miss when in Kenya: I was born in Nairobi, Kenya and lived there until I was 9 years old. It is a place I hold very dear to my heart, and plan to spend a lot more time there in the years to come. I visited Nairobi after twenty - one years, and had a very nostalgic experience visiting family and friends, and revisiting my childhood memories.
