My travel style
Slow travel (staying in one place for a longer period of time) is my preferred way of exploring the world, but I'm also a lover of last-minute micro-adventures. For me, the ideal trip combines natural wonders, authentic cultural experiences and (of course) incredible food.
Favorite hotels
Recently returned from:
Road-tripping and stargazing across New Mexico.
Hiking to blue lakes in Colorado, my second home.
National Park-hopping in the Pacific Northwest.
Solo-traveling and hiking across Costa Rica.
Dreaming of:
Soaking up the sights, sounds and flavors of Japan.
Viewing wildlife in Kenya.
Exploring the mountains of Nepal.
Road-tripping across New Zealand.
One thing I can't travel without...
My journal - the best ideas come in new places!
Two truths, one lie:
I went on my first solo trip to Thailand when I was 16.
My lost luggage arrived on the last day of my three-week trip to Cusco.
I lived in four different states in three years.
