Travel Style
My best trips have been a mixture of active adventures and time for soaking in the local life and relaxing. My brain and body want to be expanded by travel, but I also know the importance of relaxing in a beautiful, quiet place. I love to create an itinerary that lets us do a fair bit of both. I love exploring museums, architecture, history, shopping, and restaurants from a lovely hotel as my base. I've also kayaked and hiked the Napali Coast (Kauai), biked through Paris, and rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon.
We retired from full-time work in 2022 and moved from the Seattle area to a small town outside Tucson. At home, when I am not exploring my new desert environment, you can find me swimming, hiking, gardening, reading, and planning our next travel adventure.

We are most grateful to our travel advisor, Suzi Beerman, who found and booked this hotel in Venice for us. The hotel location was excellent for city walking, the hotel staff were very helpful in offering and securing a water taxi to St Marks Square, etc and securing a porter for our departure to the train station. We had not paid for the breakfast buffet but the staff allowed us to do so when we arrived. I highly recommend this hotel in Venice! Clean and comfortable rooms/beds and a lift!!

Susie was incredible. She juggled communications between myself, my daughter and my son in law (to be). My daughter did not know about the engagement or that us (her parents) would be on the trip. Susie managed to recommend excursions, communicate efficiently and timely and all the time keeping all the paperwork and emails separated so that my daughter did not know a thing. Impressive. Susie is a gem in the travel advisor world! Highly recommend her.

Suzi watched the price of the hotel and when the rates dropped, she rebooked us. They saved us a lot of money!
