Things to do in England
Westminster Abbey
Have you ever been curious about where Kings and Queens have been crowned since 1066? Westminster Abbey has seen the coronations, weddings and funerals of many British, English and Scottish monarchs over the years. You can also see Pyx Chapel, which is the oldest surviving part of the Abbey that has been standing since the early 11th century.
St. Bride's Church
The current church was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London of 1666, the church is considered one of the oldest buildings in London, the original church being the first stone-walled church built in the early 6th century.
Globe Theatre
The current Globe is the third Globe Theatre. The first was built by the Lord Chamberlain's Men in 1599. The Globe Theatre specializes in Shakespearean shows, mirroring its original intent, but you also have the chance to enjoy other Renaissance writings, as well as modern concerts and shows in this open-air theater.
