Curator’s statement
Spend the morning visiting Frida Kahlo’s famous Casa Azul and then head to Xoximilco. Beautifully decorated and colorful gondolas take visitors on a journey through the Aztec built canals with mariachis(live music), great street food & beer. It is a floating fiesta! One of my most cherished memories of Mexico City.

Things to do in Mexico City
Fun day trip to learn about the culture and heritage while having a good time on the slow and lively “trajineras!" Do not miss all the creepy yet interesting and fascinating dolls hanging from the trees. The ride can be as long or as short as you want. This is also a good spot to get your souvenirs.
Places to eat & drink in Mexico City
There is so much food to try here! There are vendors on the canal everywhere. Try some elotes or carne asada. If you prefer to bring your own food, you are welcome to do so. Sip on your “michelada” and enjoy this unique experience!
