A Visit with Cheval Blanc, Paris
Curator’s statement

I had the pleasure of touring Cheval Blanc Paris. The hotel overlooks the Seine and the new Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama art installation. The contemporary hotel houses 72 rooms along six floors. The spa has a 30-meter lap pool with views of the Seine, a Hammam, sauna, cold shower and fully equipped fitness and yoga studio. They also offer a hair salon on site with Dior products.

Dining

Cheval Blanc has three Italian restaurants and one French restaurant with an extensive wine list.

Amenities

The most unique part about the property is the 7th floor terrace that opens to the public every June. You can take in views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur. They also have a 10th floor terrace with 360-degree views.

Accommodations

A great perk at Cheval Blanc are the spacious closets and large bathrooms offered in each room. This is a luxury you won't find at your typical Parisian hotel.

If you’re in need of high-end luxury, the apartment suite is a 2-story, 1000 sq meter room on the 8th and 9th floor. The 7-bedroom suite has a 15-meter pool, home cinema, sauna, fitness suite, private elevator and a dedicated parking space.

Need to Know

Overall, I thought the property was clean and bright, and offered more space to spread out than any other hotel I’ve seen in the city. The location is great for both site seeing and dining and the fabulous rooftop terrace can’t be beat!
