Clydesdale Outpost - Whitefish, MT
Curator’s statement

I had a work trip in Denver in October and I decided to shoot up to Whitefish, MT for a long weekend. I'd never been to Montana, but had heard so many good things about Whitefish and the Glacier Nat'l Park area. I definitely wanted a nature/outdoors experience and all of my research led me to The Clydesdale Outpost, hust outside of the town of Whitefish. It's a Clydesdale Ranch with rentable/upscale cabins on the property. They describe it as a boutique guest ranch experience with Clydesdale horses and it definitely is.

There are 5 cabins on the property, each with 2 bedrooms. Each cabin has an outdoor hot tub. The amenities are fabulous. They also have a record player, gas fireplace, A/C and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need.

The property is massive and sprawling with nature and wildlife. Matt and Ben run the Clydesdale Outpost. Ben grew up in Germany and raised Clydesdales, he was also a veterinarian there. The ranch has several horse activities throughout the year. I did a 45-minute horseback riding adventure on the property, which was so beautiful. The ranch is about a 30-40 minute drive from Glacier Nat'l Park.
