You may have recently seen its signature event - The Waste Management Open - making headlines, but this vibrant city offers all kinds of getaways, whether you're craving golf, outdoor adventures, a romantic escape, a fun-filled girls' weekend, or baseball’s spring training. This easily accessible destination is one of my most visited cities for weddings, milestone celebrations with friends, a long weekend with my husband, and to visit my best friend! Scottsdale is especially lovely for those of us seeking a warm weather escape in winter. Here's your ultimate guide to the coolest restaurants in Scottsdale and where to stay!

Citizen Public House:

This unpretentious gastropub is one of Scottsdale’s coolest restaurants and has been named best restaurant by multiple local publications. Indulge in dishes like the savory short ribs but don't sleep on the cult-favorite chopped salad. Then venture to Benjamin's Upstairs, a hidden speakeasy, for an after dinner cocktail.

Virtu Honest Craft:

This small, intimate restaurant serves up exquisite modern Italian dishes. Enjoy fresh pasta and other staples on the frequently changing menu.

Francine:

Here you’ll enjoy an elegant French dining experience, paying homage to the chef's homeland in the south of France. Named one of Scottsdale's best fine dining restaurants, Francine provides a cool upscale and luxurious culinary journey for lunch or dinner.

The Mission:

This sophisticated modern latin restaurant with a premium tequila list is located in one of Old Town Scottsdale’s oldest buildings. The dimly lit chandeliers, walls filled with mirrors, and glowing salt rock wall create a sultry atmosphere for enjoying cuisine influenced by Mexico, South and Central America, and Spain. Don't miss the Peruvian duck fried rice.

Toca Madera:

This vibey Mexican steakhouse boasts bold flavors and a diverse menu including vegan and gluten-free offerings for all tastes.

Fat Ox:

Here you’ll find a local chef’s modern take on Italian classics. Dining with a large group? The option of a 4-course family style menu for groups of eight or more people eliminates decision paralysis of ordering for the table.

Farm and Craft:

Keep it casual while enjoying healthy, sustainable eats. This is a great option all day long for breakfast, lunch, or a low key but damn delicious dinner.

Kaz Bar:

Looking for a nightcap following a tasty dinner? Head to this Scottsdale hidden gem to enjoy live music and a final cocktail before bed.

Montauk:

Vacation mode calls for brunch. Dine on tasty American classics while enjoying live music and sipping on a glass of rose.

Diego Pops:

Savor tacos and tequila on a friendly outdoor patio. With happy hour 7 days a week, this is the perfect laid-back spot for an indulgent afternoon of drinks and ½ off apps. Set within the walls of a historic Southwestern pottery shop, you’ll enjoy a playful dining experience at one of Scottsdale’s coolest restaurants.

Hash:

This lively brunch spot, which features a live DJ, is home to the original build your own bloody mary bar. Pro tip - check their website and join the waitlist prior to arrival.

Fire at Will:

In my opinion, no coolest restaurant list is complete without an amazing burger rec, which you will find here. Who can resist melty cheese atop two smash patties dressed with house sauce and perfectly crisp pickles sandwiched between brioche buns. I certainly can’t.

And last, but not least, check out Hot Chick, Boondocks, or Gilligans for a casual cool bar vibe.
