Things to do in Chicago's West Side
Thrift shop! There are thrift shops up and down Milwaukee Ave and each has its own personality. My favorite is Lost Girls Vintage!
Take a walk on the 606! This trail used to be an elevated railroad trail that was converted into a walking / exercise trail.
Check out Wicker Park. Right off of Milwaukee Ave there is a small park where you can feel like a local. Sit on a bench with some Stan’s Donuts or a slice of Paulie Gee pizza and just relax!
Go shopping in the West Loop. Walk up and down Randolph Street and check out some great stores, Madewell, Warby Parker, Allbirds, Anthropologie, and many more.
Stop by Salvage One, a thrift store, event space, and just a good place to wander.
Go to a sports event! The United Center is home to the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks.
