About
Mexican-born and living in NYC. I'm multi-hyphenate, deeply interested in the intersection of forms, color, flavor and sensation. I have a wiener dog, so pet-friendly travel is my quest.
Home airports
JFK, sometimes LaGuardia.
My travel style
My travel style involves layering experiences through food, design, art, culture, fashion, nature and anthropology. It's an informed and well-calculated plan that's flexible enough to allow for surprise and at-the-spot unearthing/discovery. My philosophy is that less is more – simple design, good company and the right amount of bread and butter make the difference. My hack is to find the best upcoming spots worldwide.
Favorite hotels
Recently returned from:
Exploring a hidden beach on the coast of Oaxaca.
Taking a week-long trip to Rome as a local.
Sailing in the Tuscan Archipelago to Napoleon’s island of exile.
Camping over a long-weekend trip to the Gothics in the Region of the Adirondack Mountains. Breathtaking views at the mountain peak.
Dreaming of:
Machu Picchu trek through the Inca trail.
Everywhere in Japan.
Argentina, with an emphasis on Patagonia.
Norway.
One thing I can't travel without...
My camera and my yoga mat.
Two truths, one lie:
I lost a flight because I thought I didn't need a visa to enter Canada.
A monkey stole my swimsuit on my last trip to Quintana Roo.
I took training for breeding alpacas and llamas in northern Italy during the pandemic.
