Sidenote: are there boutique hotels in Las Vegas?

It depends on your definition of a “boutique hotel.” If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that only caters to a few guests at a time, you won’t find great options near or on the Strip. But if you want a luxurious, boutique hotel experience, you won’t be disappointed.

The 12 coolest hotels in Vegas

While there may not be many intimate boutique hotels in Las Vegas, the coolest Vegas hotels double as famous Vegas landmarks, boasting incredible restaurants, casinos and attractions.

1. Encore at the Wynn Las Vegas

Part of the Wynn Las Vegas Resort, the Encore is one of the best five-star resorts in Las Vegas. Each room features over 700 square feet of posh decor and amenities, making it a serious contender for the best hotel in Vegas for bachelorette parties (a Fora travel advisor can hook you up with Vegas bachelorette party ideas, by the way).

As for the resort, extravagant spas, salons and barbershops give way to gorgeous pools and courtyards that convert into a nightclub after hours. The Encore's opulent spa is a luxe, tranquil retreat, complete with a juice bar serving up, among other refreshments, Tom Brady's signature line of TB12 Power Smoothies. Wellness goes beyond the spa, too. You'll find a SoulCycle studio directly in the Wynn Plaza, and the resort's Living Well program features in-room workout videos, personal training sessions, vitamin IV drips and nourishing food and drink options throughout the hotel. You can also practice your swing at the Wynn Golf Club, or play for high stakes at the resort’s open-air casino.

Fora Perks at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas:

  • $100 hotel / resort credit.

  • $60 daily breakfast credit.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

2. Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

Looking for things to do in Vegas besides gamble? The Vdara at the ARIA Resort (one of the best party hotels in Vegas) is a fantastic non-gambling, non-smoking and pet-friendly choice. It also features a five-star spa that consistently ranks among the top options in the US.

The Vdara isn’t a true boutique hotel (again, that’s not really a thing in Vegas), but the lavish rooms provide an oasis amidst the hubbub of the Strip. And like The Palazzo, the Vdara caters to guests seeking a five-star stay with uncompromising service.

Also within the ARIA is ARIA Sky Suites, one of the best five-star hotels in Las Vegas. Expect unparalleled service, some of the city's best views and sprawling one- and two-bedroom suites. This exclusive hotel-within-a-hotel is not to be missed.

Bonus: check out our non-gambling Vegas itinerary for more things to do.

Fora Perks at ARIA Sky Suites:

  • $100 food / beverage credit.

  • $60 daily breakfast credit.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

3. Bellagio

Speaking of upscale, The Bellagio has long reigned as one of the most elegant places to stay in Vegas.

The Bellagio is among the best of Las Vegas’ coolest hotels, and its nightlife appeals to the sophisticated palate. Between the Baccarat, Petrossian and Mayfair, guests can sample a variety of high-class cocktails, spirits and hors-d'oeuvres.

The Bellagio Fountains run nearly every night (a good activity if you want things to do in Vegas with kids), and while the show is free to view from the Strip, the best views come from The Bellagio’s elite restaurants like Picasso, where guests dine on elevated Spanish fare among the namesake's masterpieces, or Le Cirque, where classic French gastronomy gets a contemporary touch of Vegas glam.

And did we mention the Bellagio has its own Gallery of Fine Art? Rotating exhibitions feature world-class artists, from Salvador Dalí to Ai Weiwei.

And don’t forget: booking with Fora means free upgrades and perks, which means you get to splurge elsewhere — like on fine dining and world-class shows (or a kids-friendly Vegas itinerary).

Fora Perks at Bellagio:

  • $100 food / beverage credit.

  • Breakfast daily.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

4. SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand

If you’re looking for peak luxury on the Strip, SKYLOFTS is a fantastic choice. Floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city’s skyline, 24-hour butler service and an infinity tub with Champagne bubbles are just a few of the elite amenities made available to guests of MGM Grand’s SKYLOFTS, found on the top levels of the hotel. Choose from 51 one-, two- or three-bedroom suites, all of which are sleekly decorated and glamorously spacious.

SKYLOFTS guests also have access to the MGM Grand’s attractions, including over 20 restaurants featuring cuisine from all over the world, an elaborate pool complex and much more. Some of the best restaurants here include Joël Robuchon, Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, KÀ by Cirque du Soleil and Hakkasan. Even better, at all of them, guests staying at SKYLOFTS benefit from priority seating. Oui, chef to that.

Fora Perks at SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand:

  • $100 food / beverage credit.

  • $100 daily breakfast credit.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

5. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan is a trendy, luxe hotel that caters to a youthful crowd. Few hotels on the Strip can compete with The Cosmopolitan’s nightlife, with its three-story nightclub-slash-lounge area and multiple pool areas.

One thing that you won’t find at many other Vegas hotels: The Cosmopolitan is one of the few hotels to feature private terraces. Need to make a dinner reservation? Out of towels? Have a burning secret to reveal? Not to worry: Rose, The Cosmopolitan's digital concierge, is merely a text away, ready to cater to just about every need.

We love the hotel's cheeky, playful vibe. Here, guests are encouraged to live and let live, and to do so in style. Don't miss the onsite restaurants and bars, either. Choose from the acclaimed Momofuku (helmed by David Chang), the sophisticated Beauty & Essex (a beloved NYC expat), the all-day breakfast joint Eggslut, the beloved sandwich shop Lardo (from Portland Chef Rick Gencarelli), Christina Tosi cult-following-worthy Milk Bar, the refined Scarpetta, the sexy STK, the "Italian American Psychedelic" hotspot Superfrico and so. much. more. You really can't go wrong.

Fora Perks at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas:

  • $100 food / beverage or spa credit.

  • Autograph Lounge check-in.

  • Breakfast daily.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

6. Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts

A fairly new entry to the Vegas Strip, the Crockfords prides itself on exceptional concierge service and upscale amenities, like steam showers, saunas, state-of-the-art media rooms and more. The Crockfords Hotel also offers private palaces and villas, some of which come with karaoke rooms, movie theaters and private pools.

There's pretty much always a party going on at Crockfords Las Vegas. Head to AYU Dayclub for a poolside dance party, with music courtesy of some of the world's top DJs. Zouk Nightclub is ideal for an exhilerating clubbing experience.

After a night of partying, recoup in the fitness center's Stretch & Recovery Zone, equipped with Therabody devices. Or, if you want to sweat even more, hop on one of the hotel's Peloton bikes.

Fora Perks at Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts:

  • $100 food / beverage credit.

  • $66 daily breakfast credit.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

7. Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is a great choice if you’re looking for a smoke-free, non-gaming luxury hotel right in the heart of the Strip. The oversized rooms and condominiums offer a spacious retreat, while a range of high-end dining options is sure to appease travelers with a sophisticated palette. Opt for dinner at Zen Kitchen, which serves seasonal American fare in an airy space. Afterward, enjoy a nightcap at Hotel Bar perched on the 23rd floor, with spectacular views of the Strip.

Wellness enthusiasts, too, will get their fix here. The hotel boasts a serene spa that offers facials, massages, body therapies and salon services. The deep-tissue massage feels especially heavenly after working up a sweat at the onsite gym, or after taking one of the hotel's complimentary fitness classes.

Plan your Vegas getaway with Fora, and we'll level up your stay at the Waldorf Astoria and other cool hotels in Vegas.

Fora Perks at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas:

  • $100 hotel / resort credit.

  • Breakfast daily.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

8. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

Another elite, non-smoking hotel on the Vegas Strip — this time, near the southern end — the Four Seasons Las Vegas lives up to its brand pedigree with lavish rooms and opulent decor. It's one of the best five-star hotels in Las Vegas, with a private pool (separate from the pools at Mandalay Bay, although guests have access to those, too), gourmet dining, a sumptuous spa and a stellar concierge ready to book you a coveted ticket at one of the city's best sports or entertainment events.

The Four Seasons is located in the Mandalay Bay complex, granting convenient access to all the resort’s offerings, like the Shark Reef Aquarium or the ritzy Foundation Room bar and restaurant.

Fora Perks at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas:

  • When you book Four Seasons through Fora, you will enjoy exclusive Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits. Your advisor will be pleased to give you more details.

9. The Venetian

The Venetian Resort is a must-see on any Las Vegas itinerary. The first tower (the original Venetian), with its Gothic façade that opens up to gondola rides through the Grande Shoppes and a bustling casino floor, especially stands out.

Of particular note is The Venetian’s Dorsey Cocktail Bar — a great place for a date night if you’re checking out the best Vegas hotels for couples. The vibe is classy, but not at the expense of fun.

10. The Palazzo

If you’re looking for a boutique hotel experience, stay at The Venetian’s sister hotel, The Palazzo. This swanky establishment emphasizes luxury over Old-World charm, with spacious rooms, opulent furnishings and world-class service. Fora travelers also get access to the exclusive Prestige Club Lounge, located on The Palazzo's 23rd floor. Here, you can enjoy a prosecco check-in, a private concierge, daily breakfast, afternoon cocktails and more.

Not sure which tower to choose? Connect with Fora, and we'll help you decide.

Fora Perks at The Palazzo:

  • Complimentary Prestige Lounge access.

  • VIP private check-in.

  • Breakfast daily.

  • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

11. NoMad Las Vegas

Hidden atop the Park MGM complex, the NoMad Las Vegas enjoys a relatively exclusive and sophisticated aura that caters to the discerning traveler.

Like its famous siblings, the NoMad Las Vegas embodies a European aesthetic with a distinct New York influence. In typical NoMad fashion, the food and drinks here are expertly crafted, and served in handsome, sophisticated settings. The NoMad Restaurant is housed in a multi-story library, with tens of thousands of books that once belonged to none other than famed banker David Rockefeller. And the cocktails are *chef's kiss*. Indulge in classics and creative newcomers, all created by the NoMad's award-winning team of mixologists.

12. Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace

A unique option on the strip, the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace is named for famed fusion chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, and features Japanese-inspired designs and decor. The minimalist styles are artful, with a calming effect — providing an excellent refuge from Vegas’ otherwise electric exploits.

A stay here would be incomplete without dining at Nobu (you can also enjoy Nobu's world-class dishes in your room, for perhaps some of the most elevated room service we've ever heard of). But don't skip Bobby Flay's restaurant, Amalfi, either. Savor Mediterranean cuisine highlighting fresh seafood, best paired with a fine wine or Campari Spritz, of course.
