Why I Love The Pendry Hotels & Resorts (and Why You Should, Too)

Sleek design, a trendy vibe, always the best cocktails and I can bring Fido? Sign me up. As a self-proclaimed hotel enthusiasts, I take my list of go-to places very seriously. One name that tops the list? The Pendry Hotels & Resorts.

From refined interiors and design-forward corners to thoughtful touches like welcome drinks upon arrival, Pendry’s urban oases offer travelers a sophisticated, yet relaxed take on hospitality. The hotel brand is known for creating warm, lively alcoves where guests can mingle (and unwind) after a day of exploring a new city. My favorite part? Each Pendry hotel is proudly pet-friendly.

After opening its inaugural hotel in San Diego in 2017, the Pendry as a brand continued to expand its destinations, which is great news if you (like me) find yourself daydreaming about a getaway to palm-studded West Hollywood, or a slopeside snowcation in Park City. Other destinations in Pendry’s expanding portfolio include Sagamore Pendry Baltimore, Pendry Chicago and the newly opened Pendry Washington, DC, The Wharf.

Set on DC’s trendy waterfront harbor, the hotel's guest rooms have me swooning with their warm aesthetic, floor-to-ceiling windows and luxe marble bathrooms. After a day exploring the nation's capital, guests can unwind with a rooftop cocktail at Moonraker, the hotel’s stylish bar — complete with river views — or indulge in a treatment at the dreamy Spa Pendry.
