    Park Hotel Kenmare

Framed by the Kerry mountains and Kenmare Bay, Park Hotel Kenmare is an idyllic escape with a big Irish heart. A five-star favorite since 1897, this former railway hotel is now run by Bryan and Tara Meehan, who’ve poured fresh, modern energy into the property, while staying true to its original character with open fires, stone walls, and stained-glass windows. You’ll find reclaimed international artworks throughout, a heavenly spa experience at SÁMAS (think forest-fringed vitality pools and custom Bamford treatments), and a slow daily rhythm.

Start your day with sun-dappled breakfasts (get the warm scones). In the afternoon, refuel with homemade, teatime cake in the Drawing Room. Landline serves local, seasonal menus with sweeping views of the bay; outside, there’s croquet, tennis, coastal walks, and a private cinema for post-adventure evenings. The location is perfect for exploring the storybook town of Kenmare, where you’ll find traditional pubs, local crafts, and friendly locals.

    • Fora Reserve perks include $100 food and beverage credit, daily breakfast, an upgrade, and extended check-in/out whenever possible.

    The Apurva Kempinski Bali

A grand tiered resort with modern architecture, lush greenery, and a reflecting pool in front.

From the soaring carved-wood foyer to ocean views layered like rice paddies, The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a jaw-dropper from the moment you arrive. Perched on a serene hillside in Nusa Dua, the resort channels Kempinski’s love of grand design and European-style hospitality—complete with Kempinski’s signature Red Ladies greeting guests like royalty.

Nearly 500 rooms, suites, and villas sprawl across the terraced grounds (most with private plunge pools), while Club Lounge access opens the door to a quieter, more exclusive world: a two-level lounge, panoramic terraces, and a trio of pools—including a cold-water spa pool. Perks also include priority check-in, à la carte breakfasts, and complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails. Days here are choose-your-own-adventure: eight restaurants, a luxe spa, a kids’ club and waterpark, a beach club, and a sandy stretch perfect for sunset strolls—or cliffside weddings at the oceanview chapel.

    CIVILIAN Hotel

Set just far enough from the Times Square chaos, this 27-story Midtown escape brings a touch of backstage glamour to the heart of Manhattan.  Designed by architect David Rockwell (who also does stage sets), the hotel nods to its Broadway roots with velvet headboards, dressing-room lights, and playful touches like lipstick-scrawled mirrors and costume trunk-style wardrobes. Rooms are compact but smartly laid out—snag a corner room for sweeping views of the Hudson and surrounding skyline.

Downstairs, Rosevale Kitchen serves a refined American prix-fixe ideal for pre-curtain dinners, while the soaring Cocktail Room upstairs hosts live jazz and rotating stage set displays. Wrap things up at Starchild, the rooftop bar where DJs spin under city lights.

    • Fora Reserve perks include $100 food and beverage credit (for stays of 4+ nights), a welcome amenity, and an upgrade whenever possible.

    Black Urchin Boutique Resort

For those after a private, upscale, zero-stress escape that works beautifully for groups, this beachfront hideaway on Grand Cayman’s South Sound delivers. Whether you’re juggling toddlers and teens, planning a wedding, or hosting a retreat, Black Urchin’s ultra-flexible setup has you covered. There’s a 6-bedroom villa, a 7-bedroom stunner with five master suites and a 1,200-square-foot ultra-suite, and the Coconut Grove Suites, which you can mix and match into 8-, 12-, or even 16-bedroom configurations. For celebrations, take over the whole resort (that are 29 bedrooms and space for 88 guests) and have it all to yourself.

Expect hotel-level polish with the comforts of a private home: daily housekeeping, optional private chef, spa treatments in your villa, and pre-arrival grocery stocking. A concierge helps with everything from airport transfers and baby gear to sunset boat charters and snorkeling with stingrays. And while the setting is serene and low-key, there’s no shortage of amenities: oversized oceanfront pools, hot tubs, and plenty of room to spread out.

    Chiva-Som International Health Resort

A serene lake with verdant foliage all around and traditional Thai structures

One of the original wellness pioneers, Chiva-Som opened in Hua Hin, Thailand in 1995 and has been quietly transforming lives ever since. The beachfront retreat in Hua Hin was founded by a Thai politician who swapped his beach house for a sanctuary focused on health, balance, and “enjoying life”—a motto that still guides the experience today. Choose from 16 wellness programs, from detox and fitness to physiotherapy and “Ageing Well,” each tailored to your goals with help from a team of expert practitioners (some of whom have been here since the ‘90s).

Expect Thai hospitality at its most thoughtful—warm, unobtrusive, and incredibly supportive—plus days filled with spa treatments, one-on-one movement sessions, and surprisingly delicious low-salt, low-sugar meals. The setting is film-set worthy: teak pavilions, koi-filled ponds, and palm trees swaying above the sea. And everything’s designed for longer stays—even the laundry’s done daily—so it’s no surprise people return again and again.

    • Fora Reserve perks include a complimentary Health & Wellness treatment per person (valued up to $150), a complimentary lunch on arrival or departure day, daily breakfast, an upgrade, and extended check-in/out whenever possible.

The Marylebone, The Bloomsbury, and The Kensington

The Doyle Collection’s three London hotels each channel a different slice of the city. Equal parts posh and personal, they nail the boutique-in-the-know vibe—like staying with a design-forward local who always gets the best table.

The Marylebone is upbeat and urbane, tucked into one of London’s smartest villages and just steps from Oxford Street and Bond Street shopping. Expect lively corners in the lobby and cocktail bar, a street-side brasserie that locals love, and access to a serious health club with a pool. The Bloomsbury is a love letter to London’s literary past, housed in a historic building near Soho and Covent Garden. Its trio of destination bars and restaurants is a big draw, including the photogenic Dalloway Terrace and the cocktail-slinging Bloomsbury Club Bar. The Kensington, located in its namesake neighborhood, leans classic and quietly grand. Think open fireplaces, high ceilings, and velvet armchairs, with period-style rooms that feel like you’ve borrowed someone’s (very elegant) townhouse. Great for museum-hopping, afternoon tea, or just curling up with a novel and a negroni.

    • Fora Reserve perks include £85 food and beverage credit, a welcome amenity, daily breakfast (or up to £35 room service credit daily), an upgrade, and extended check-in/out whenever possible.

    Hotel Regency Florence

Housed in a 19th-century villa in Sant’Ambrogio, the Regency has the hush of a private residence and the kind of lived-in elegance that makes you forget the Duomo’s just a stroll away. Once a favorite of visiting rockstars and royalty, the hotel’s 31 rooms feature Renaissance art, velvet armchairs, antique mirrors, parquet floors, and Carrara marble bathrooms. Service is personal and polished, with a dedicated concierge ready to help you explore the city like a local.

Start your day with a homemade breakfast featuring house-smoked salmon, fresh pastries, and the hotel’s own Nutella. After sightseeing, retreat to the shady Secret Garden for an aperitivo, or dine at the elegant Relais Le Jardin restaurant, which spills outside in warmer months. The location strikes a rare balance: close to Santa Croce and the buzzing Sant’Ambrogio market area, yet calm enough to feel like a private Florentine hideaway.
