Coming up with bachelor and bachelorette trip ideas is easy. The hard part? Crafting an itinerary that balances what the guest of honor loves with what will bring the whole group together.

Nailing this kind of group getaway starts with choosing the right destination for your crew. For everything else—from securing room blocks and group rates at the perfect hotel to wrangling competing schedules and the 17-person text thread that precedes every final decision—your Fora Advisor has you covered.

Use the five destinations below as inspiration for your own bachelor and bachelorette trip ideas.

The vibe: Boot-scootin’ and BBQ

The destination: Nashville, Tennessee

In Music City, live performances runs from morning until the wee hours. See bands over biscuits and gravy at brunch, catch singer-songwriters at supper clubs, and hit the honky-tonks at happy hour before big names take the stage at Broadway institutions like Tootsies and Robert's Western World. You might even luck into a surprise set from the stars on those neon marquees.

Go all in on the experience: pick up commemorative boots at Big Time Boots, take a line-dancing lesson, and belt out karaoke ballads backed by an animatronic band at Cross-Eyed Critters, tucked in the basement of the Graduate by Hilton Nashville. Ride the elevator the other direction for pink drinks and photo-worthy views at the rooftop bar before settling into bed in one of the country-glam rooms. For groups whose aesthetic skews more industrial-chic, there's Virgin Hotels Nashville.

The vibe: Desert adventure

The destination: Southern Utah

Between the onyx lava beds, rust-red cliffs, powder blue skies, sherbet sunsets and inky nights, southern Utah is a Pantone-colored playground. The new Black Desert Resort, with a Cloud Dancer white exterior and cobalt, coral, and smoke accents inside, is the perfect base camp for into-the-wild times. Active trips might include hiking in nearby Zion National Park, skiing, golf clinics, e-bike rides, stargazing, and—if you're early birds—sunrise yoga on a giant red rock down a trail in the middle of Snow Canyon State Park. Afterward, soothe weary muscles with the high-tech recovery amenities like the dry cryo float and salt inhalation chamber, then treat yourselves to milkshakes at the 20th Hole. Tip: Connecting rooms and kitchenettes also make for easy slumber parties with snacks.

The vibe: A sip-and-sun trip

The destination: Santa Barbara, California

A trip to Santa Barbara marries an unpretentious wine-country experience with a California beach escape. More than 20 producers have opened tasting rooms, with most found in the Presidio and Funk Zone. From there, take a stroll to the beach, State Street shopping, fabulous restaurants, and chic hotels like Kimpton Canary or Hotel Californian, which has its own wine bar. Or hire a driver to ferry you around the charming towns and wineries of the bucolic Santa Ynez Valley. Consider stops for horseback riding and gourmet picnicking, too.

The vibe: All pleasure, no planning

The destination: The Bahamas

Wedding planning is exhausting and complicated, making the ease of an all-in-one beach resort that much more appealing. The Bahamas are easily accessible—there are even direct flights from the West Coast—and promise sun-streaked beach days and festive nights. At the SLS Baha Mar, one of three hotels on the Baha Mar resort campus (alongside Grand Hyatt and Rosewood), there are so many onsite amenities that you won’t need to leave the property until it’s time to go home.

Choose from numerous celebrity chef-helmed restaurants (by Marcus Samuelsson, Daniel Boulud, Katsuya Uechi, and more), Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club, and a 30,000 square foot spa where the knots caused by seating chart drama can be massaged into nonexistence with warm tiger clam shells. There’s also an all-day adults-only pool, a casino, nightclub, and multiple bars, including Kendall Jenner’s 818 Shack.

The vibe: Inner peace

The destination: The Berkshires, Massachusetts

In the western hills of Massachusetts sits Miraval Berkshires, a picturesque retreat that’s also a powerhouse wellness center with robust programming suited for every mode of self-care. Of course, there’s yoga, meditation, breathwork, and a wide menu of massages, including chakra flow massage or vibrational sound therapy. Try a Naga treatment, favored by Oprah—it’s a guided stretch plus deep massage with the therapist suspended by hanging silks. Or discover a new hobby with workshops devoted to photography, beekeeping, or pottery. Common areas offer cozy perches for reading, resting, and chatting; meals feature seasonal, local fare and are savored in a barn-chic dining space.
