HX FAQs

HX cruises allow travelers to really experience nature's untainted beauty. Their ships travel to Alaska, Antarctica, the British Isles, the Galápagos, Greenland, Iceland and beyond.

It depends. Dining at Aune, the main restaurant, is included, as are meals at Fredheim, a casual option available on most ships. Some ships feature the à-la-carte restaurant Lindstrøm, but meals here are included only for suite guests. Non-suite guests will have to pay an additional fee.

Both HX and Hurtigruten are owned by Hurtigruten Group. HX cruises are more adventure-focused, centered on unique nature experiences in locations like Antarctica, Greenland and South America, to name a few. Hurtigruten (formerly Hurtigruten Norway) cruises run exclusively in Norway.
