Set amid 1,500 acres of woodland near the Allegheny National Forest in northwestern Pennsylvania, the Lodge at Glendorn captures the grandeur of early 20th-century family estates. As a Relais & Châteaux property, it offers hand-hewn log cabins and a historic Main Lodge crafted from redwood. Glendorn attracts anglers with its award-winning fly-fishing streams and welcomes guests seeking a secluded retreat in nature. Established as a family refuge in 1927, it envelops visitors in tradition and warmth.

Rooms and suites

Guests can choose from 16 individually appointed cabins, each with its own character. The Miller Cabin, the oldest, features chestnut paneling, a wood-burning fireplace, and a screened porch overlooking Fuller Brook. Clayt’s Cabin, suitable for larger groups, offers a primary suite with a private porch and additional bedrooms, making it well-suited for family gatherings. In the Main Lodge, restored rooms and suites like the Redwood Room with redwood paneling and the Dorn Suite featuring a sun porch and hand-carved oak details provide a unique stay within the historic building. All accommodations include monogrammed linens, Molton Brown bath products, and personal touches like freshly baked cookies. Select cabins are pet-friendly.
