Namsan Tower: The iconic tower in the middle of the capital of Seoul is a hot tourist spot with amazing views and great memories.
Gyeongbokgung Palace: In the middle of the city is this most stunning and historic palace. Rent Hanbok — traditional Korean clothing — to get in for free to explore.
Coex Mall: This massive mall in the neighborhood of Gangnam — yes, that Gangnam — is full of shops, the Instagrammable Starfield Library and a giant aquarium.
Hongdae Shopping Street: From live performances by buskers to food vendors, lively shopping and clubs, Hongdae is the hot spot for all things happening in Seoul.
Cafe Hopping: Seoul is known for its unique and exquisite cafes. From cat cafes to Harry Potter cafes to cafes made out of traditional Korean homes, it is well worth it.
Gamcheon Culture Village: Located in Busan, this colorful and distinctive village is well worth the train ride from Seoul. Some of the best views and meeting a lot of locals who live and run businesses there.
Haeundae Sky Capsule: Busan's views don't get any better than here. With mountain and ocean views, this sky capsule is a perfect way to take in the scenery.
Gwangjang market: The oldest and largest traditional market in Korea with a wide variety of foods and products. A must-see!
Han River: Perfect place for a picnic with some ramen and a friend. A hub for young people, especially during late spring and summer.
Food: The food in South Korea is delicious. From convenience stores to Korean BBQ to street vendors, they are all a must-try.
