Fly the dog-friendly skies
BARK Air and Fora—the only travel partnership designed entirely around your dog's comfort and happiness.
Fora is the only travel agency partnered with BARK Air to deliver dog-inclusive luxury travel to our clients. Because planning the perfect trip for you and your pup requires more than booking a reservation—it requires expertise.
Finally, your dog will be treated like family, not luggage. Your Golden Retriever deserves more than cargo. Your Chihuahua shouldn't be crammed into a carrier. And you deserve to travel with your best friend by your side, where they belong.

BARK Air is different because it was specifically created for dogs first, and humans second. Here's what you can expect:
A dog-first flight experience, including treats, toys and calming aids like pheromones, music, and warm lavender-scented towels
Private airport experience—think dedicated lounge with pup passports (and no security lines)
A dedicated BARK Air concierge who works with your Fora Advisor to manage your travel experience
Access to BARK Air and Fora's preferred partners, including luxury car rentals and dog-friendly hotels
BARK Air has current routes in the metro areas of New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Lisbon, and Madrid. Each of these airports is chosen for its accessibility, making travel smoother and more convenient for you and your dog compared to larger, busier hubs.
Human travelers need valid identification, such as a state-issued REAL ID or a passport. Dogs are required to have up-to-date vaccination records. BARK Air will reach out to you after booking to gather additional information about your dog's size, allergies, and socialization preferences.
International flights require customs documents certifying pups meet all criteria set forth by regulating entities. Typically, they require rabies vaccination records, microchip compliance, recent vet physical, and tapeworm treatment. BARK Air's concierge team can guide you through the process.
BARK Air welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds. If you are traveling internationally, particularly to the EU, you and your Fora Advisor can research any potential breed restrictions to ensure your travel plans are not affected by local governing bodies. BARK Air can also provide guidance if your pup is a mixed breed.
One of the perks when flying BARK Air is expedited screening and security—without the crowded terminal. The security process is quick and convenient. Travelers should arrive to the terminal at least 60 minutes prior to their flight. The check-in and security screening process is completed in minutes, and there will be a private waiting area for you on the other side. The early arrival gives your dog time to socialize and make friends with the other dogs to avoid any unnecessary first-meet tension on the flight.
BARK Air is unable to commit to specific seating arrangements ahead of flight day. They will take into account the social preferences of every pup and overall dog dynamics of the group during your time in the lounge to influence the boarding order, seating, and service. This care and focus will ensure that both pups and human passengers are safe and stress-free at all times.
Due to limited cabin and cargo space, you are allowed to bring essential in-flight items in a small carry-on. Additionally, each person is allowed one 50lb wheeled luggage and a small duffle bag, which will both be stowed during travel.
When a traveler charters a BARK Air flight and has extra room, we open up those seats to others headed the same way. Shared Charter flights are crowdsourced and therefore subject to a minimum number of bookings. Once the minimum number of seats are filled, the flight is confirmed.
If the minimum number of seats is not met, we notify all interested parties that the flight has been cancelled so they can make alternate arrangements. If a flight is cancelled, we will offer alternative flights or provide a full refund.
Children under the age of 10 years are not permitted to fly on BARK Air.
