At arrival, the doormen greet you promptly, setting the tone for an attentive guest experience. While the layout can feel a bit disjointed, once you get the lay of the land, you feel right at home. The lobby is located on the 17th floor, offering striking views of the city skyline and a feeling of exclusivity from the moment you arrive.
You are just blocks from the Public Gardens and Commonwealth Avenue green space, along with all that Newbury Street has to offer, if shopping is in the cards for you. Two train lines are located to the right and to the left, so this is a great location if you are on the move. The Charles River is just a short stroll away, too.

The hotel is split between 147 guest rooms and 146 residences. The rooms are spacious and elegantly designed with warm tones, a contemporary vibe, and floor-to-ceiling windows. All of the room amenities were finely selected—think Frette linens, Guerlain bath amenities, Nespresso machines, and, most importantly, the hallmark contrast soaking tub! (Don't forget to ask your butler for the bath salt menu!)
The wellness area, located on the fourth floor, was well appointed with a wonderful, large lap pool, a hot tub, and high-end gym equipment. The space was surprisingly expansive considering the urban setting. The signature Guerlain Spa is intimate, with four service rooms.

Dining was abundant with many options, and it was clear that the locals also love to frequent these culinary hot spots:
Amar: Michelin-starred, Portuguese-inspired fine dining; intimate, stylish, and impressive.
Long Bar & Terrace: Raffles’ iconic, dual-story bar concept, ideal for cocktails with a view.
La Padrona: Chic Italian restaurant with stylish ambiance and a social vibe.
Café Pastel: European-style patisserie offering artisanal coffee and pastries, perfect for the quick coffee and snack on the go.
On the 19th floor, the meeting spaces were lovely, with major city views (and a killer sunset, if dining in the evening!).

Need to know
Every room category has a butler assigned. They are very much in touch with you each day, sharing the weather forecast or your designated meeting times (if attending a conference on site), and truly making sure your day is off to a great start and that you know they are there to support you.
Ask for a room with a Trinity Church or Public Library view!
If you are new to the area, don't miss a river boat tour of the Charles River, the views from the top of the Prudential Tower, or a private tour of the Museum of Fine Arts!
I would suggest this property to anyone looking for a luxury experience with stand-out service in the heart of the city.
