Experience One of the Best Hotels in Arizona: Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel

Curated by
Lauren Ruehl
Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel, stands out as one of the best hotels in Arizona by seamlessly blending luxury with an immersive experience in nature. During my stay, I would have been content to simply relax in my room and take in the panoramic views of the mountains and wilderness. This was truly the best retreat I could dream of, between the ability to disconnect in nature and the luxurious room and amenities. I would return anytime I find myself needing a getaway to rest and recharge, and would highly recommend it to my clients in need of the same.

A Weekend of Romance in Scottsdale

Curated by
A'Rielle Thomas
Whenever my husband and I need a quick recharge from the cold and grey of the Midwest, we head for the clear desert skies of Arizona. Scottsdale is a fantastic destination to disconnect from technology and reconnect with your partner in a natural setting. With opportunities for hiking, star-gazing and admiring the local desert fauna, it's easy to forget that the city of Phoenix is just 15 minutes away. The inconspicuous stucco exteriors of Scottsdale's resorts conceal relaxing retreats, mountain views and dreamy pools for the ultimate romantic weekend.

Scottsdale has been known for quite a few years now as the destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties (I actually had my own there several years ago!), but it is lesser known as a destination for families. With various delicious restaurants, large beautiful villas and family-friendly hotels to choose from, and lots of family-friendly activities — this destination is definitely not just for partying.

A Daycation at the Global Ambassador

Curated by
Lauren Keeton
As a social club member of The Global Ambassador — also called GA or The Global — I am in and out of the hotel doors almost daily. The hotel has views of the iconic Camelback Mountain while also feeling like it was dropped in straight out of a European city. I don't know how it manages to balance both, but it does. Founded by restaurateur Sam Fox this is first foray into the hotel space, and wow, what an entrance. Every restaurant is unique in its menu and experience, the spa has to now be the best in the Valley and the staff is off the charts.

Lauren Keeton
I am either on a trip or planning one and sometimes both at once. I love exploring big cities as much as deserted beaches. A mother of two and an advertising executive, I find joy in making people happy, surprised and fulfilled through travel planning and travel styling.
The daughter of parents who went anywhere and everywhere in a car, sometimes driving across the country and sometimes driving 24 hours at a time. Because of that, I always longed for plane rides and faraway places and moved to NYC to study fashion for college. I’ve lived in NYC, Brisbane, Brooklyn, Santa Monica, Malibu, North Shore of Kauai, Cabo, Phoenix and Manhattan Beach and have local insights to each of those destinations.
