In July of 2023, I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Being someone who loves to travel and enjoy the many different aspects of food that ties into local culture, I thought traveling as I knew it was over. I was so wrong, and after spending the last year traveling and researching great places to travel if you are celiac or gluten intolerant, I am happy to share some of my personal findings and hope this will help you.

My first experience at The Lafayette was many years ago when my bridal party hosted my bachelorette weekend at this hip North Park Hotel. More recently this property has undergone a 31 million dollar transformation. We occupied two very different rooms at The Lafayette. A pool side two queen and a two bedroom bungalow. I would recommend this hotel to any client looking to for a unique boutique hotel experience.

Between wildflowers, sand dollars, surfers and a safari park, San Diego is the gift that keeps on giving. There are so many options in forms of entertainment. You could spend a lifetime exploring, and still only scratch the surface. Ideal for both young families and multi-generational alike. Excellent as a romantic jaunt. Perfect for that girl's getaway. Wonderful to wander solely on your own - San Diego is its own splendid highlight reel!

Golf is a sport worth traveling for. Some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world can be found on golf courses, and taking the time to be in nature with friends can create magical moments and memories that last a lifetime — no matter what the scorecard says at the end of the day! Many people think of Ireland and Scotland as the most iconic destinations for golf lovers, but sometimes time and money require a shorter trip, closer to home. So why not venture out to San Diego, where the skies are blue, and the weather is conducive to golf year-round?!

San Diego holds a special place in my heart, not only because it's where I live but because of its blend of stunning natural beauty, vibrant cultural scene and year-round perfect weather. From the countless beaches to its world-class attractions, this city offers something for every traveler. San Diego's rich history, diverse neighborhoods and friendly locals create an inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. Whether you're exploring San Diego's historic landmarks or indulging in culinary delights, San Diego never fails to leave a lasting impression.

In April 2024, I spent a week at Rancho La Puerta with my mom. This was the first time in 20 years that we had taken the time to be together, just us, and going to Rancho La Puerta was the perfect place, to focus on ourselves and our inner and outer wellness, as well as enjoy our time together. Rancho La Puerta is a magical place, that I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to place priority on their personal well-being - most of us feel guilty taking time to ourselves, and after a week here, you learn that its so very important.

In June of 2023, I spent an incredible two nights at THE US GRANT with my Husband and three children. The grandeur of this historic hotel matched the comfort level of our Signature Studio Suite. Located in the heart of Downtown San Diego, just steps from the Gaslamp Quarter, you will never run out of things to do or restaurants to dine at. My kids were fascinated by the historic traditions that carry on at The US Grant, particularly the lighting of the candles in the Grand Lobby. The notable decor, architecture and ceremonies preformed by the hotel staff sparked many educational conversations throughout our stay and beyond. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my clients.
