Nashville is a hot spot for visitors, especially for Bachelorette parties. As a local, it bums me out when people tell me they only visited Broadway when they were in town! There are so many fun activities in Nashville. Here are some ideas that are not JUST eating or drinking or (gasp!) country music! This is such a vibrant city full of fun activities for everyone. (Ok, fine, you can order a drink at most of these places, but that's not so bad, is it?)

I grew up stopping in Nashville, Tennessee on road trips with my mom and sister. I always loved the combination of food and music in a town that really delivers on Southern hospitality. Now, it's so fun to go back and see how the city has grown, try new restaurants and experience the nightlife. It's a magical place — even people who don't like country music, for some reason, still feel a little at home in Nashville.

I've lived in Nashville for 17 years and I absolutely love it. The city has changed so much since I first moved here and it continues to evolve. It’s a fun city that always feels new and exciting. Nashville has something for everyone, especially if you love music. We may be known as the home of country music but the city has a lot more to offer. I've put together a list of some of my favorite things to see, do and eat in my hometown but this is just the tip of the iceberg. The number one piece of advice I give my friends when they visit Nashville is to plan ahead and make reservations! Restaurants tend to book up quickly and concerts will sell out. If there is something you are wanting to see or do while in town it is a good idea to go ahead and book as early as you can. That's where I can help!

While growing up in Nashville, we seldom went downtown; there wasn't much reason to visit. While many people are familiar with honky-tonks and Broadway, many don't know much about the booming nearby area called SoBro (the moniker for South Broadway). A major push for downtown development began in the '90s.Today, SoBro has become a significant part of downtown's cosmopolitan vibe, hosting some of the best bars, restaurants, entertainment and live music venues, all within walking distance of each other.
