I fell in love with Montecito fall of 2020 when we first visited this quaint town for a weekend getaway. There is something about this city that feels like it is a little slice of heaven. Located just south of Santa Barbara, Montecito, “little mountain”, is known for its beauty, and boy is she a beautiful place. Nestled above the beautiful beaches, this quiet little town, which was built into the San Ysidro mountain foothills, is truly a hidden gem. With boutiques, delicious food and amazing weather, a trip to Montecito is the perfect small town beach vacation.
Plus it's easy to get there, just 92 miles north of Los Angeles and 216 miles from San Diego. It is the perfect weekend getaway for those in Southern California.
