Lagos is a perfect destination on Portugal's southern coast to unwind after a jam-packed European vacation. Lagos is a coastal town that offers both giant cliff rock formations with excellent views and lovely beaches to throw your towel down and soak up the Portuguese sunshine. This town truly has something for everyone. Feed your adventurous soul with a sea cave kayaking tour, surf lesson or take a quad bike tour through the National Park. If you're ready for a must needed break from the hustle and bustle, spend the day lying about on one of the many beaches and take a stroll through the cobble stone streets of Old Town.

Let’s talk about Lagos, Nigeria. This vibrant city is both familiar and wildly different from any place you’ve ever visited. Lagos offers a rich tapestry of experiences, from its deep cultural roots to its modern, bustling atmosphere. Whether you’re indulging in fine dining or savoring street food, staying in luxury accommodations or just needing a quick stopover near the airport, Lagos has something for everyone. I’ll do my best to touch on as many aspects as possible because you really need to catch the unique vibe that is Lagos!

A decade ago, I took my first solo journey to Porto and became captivated by its charm, rich history, incredible views and magnificent architecture. The enchanting city left me yearning for more, promising a return.

Last year, the opportunity to revisit Portugal unfolded and this time, I had the opportunity to share the beauty of the country with my boyfriend. Our Portuguese adventure took us from the historic cities of Lisbon and Porto to the adventurous island of Madeira. Finally, we reveled in the laid-back vibes of Lagos. From city exploration to coastal escapes, our vacation was an unforgettable cultural experience at every turn.

What made this trip truly memorable was the warmth and openness of the people. We befriended locals who enriched our experience, turning a visit into a genuine connection with the culture. Portugal, with its charm and hospitality, has become more than a destination; it's a collection of memories and friendships that has earned its spot as one of my all-time favorites. I fell in love with this country for countless reasons and my hope is that you, too, will discover its magic on your own adventure.

Lagos looks like a dream, feels like a dream and might as well be a dream! The one-of-a-kind caves in the Algarve are something you'll never forget. With equal parts relaxation, adventure and fun, Lagos is a must-see! You'll find unrivaled beaches and views, top-notch restaurant choices and if you're looking for nightlife, you don't have to look hard to find it.

When I first arrived in Lagos, the beauty of the aqua-blue water and dramatic sea cliffs immediately struck me. It was hard to imagine just six hours west of this sun-drenched, historic beach town was the Eastern USA. Just shy of three hours south of Lisbon, Lagos is a haven for travelers wanting to relax beachside, explore the local cuisine and adventure on the water or on land. Overall, Lagos pairs beautifully with an itinerary that includes urban explorations (Think: Lisbon, Madrid and Porto). Lagos offers a lovely reprieve from the hustle and bustle of international travel by allowing you to slow down, grab a towel and gaze at the ocean views on a picturesque beach.
