Recently I stayed at the stunning Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. Sometimes it is hard to say "everything about this hotel is incredible", but not for the Royal York. Literally, everything about his hotel is incredible, from the staff to the decor to the food. You can stay in the hotel for days without ever wanting to step out into the real world.

When I first heard that Fairmont Gold was coming to one of my favorite downtown Toronto hotels, I knew I had to experience it for myself.
What I didn't expect was how high the standard would be set — the renovations that took place at the hotel to shell out this boutique hotel experience are unexplainable and truly must be experienced in person.
From the separate luxury check-in at the lounge to the spaciously appointed all-suite selection, this was a next-level experience.
