About
Tropical island girl turned NYC transplant, and now Hudson Valley exurbanist. Dachshund-obsessed canna entrepreneur and lover of far-flung destinations.
Travel style
I’m all about off-the-beaten-path and far-flung, awe-inspiring destinations. Remote luxury is my thing. I love Awasi Patagonia, Three Camel Lodge in the Gobi Desert and the Great Plains Conservation camps in Botswana. I am fascinated by luxury hotels that blend into a desolate landscape, the perfect balance of modern design and environmental stewardship.

Janine's reviews
I don’t have enough positive words to describe my experience working with Janine! The trip she helped to plan was a celebration for my graduation from grad school and without Janine and her expertise, I would have been so stressed figuring out how to get from point A to point B and what activities we should do. Throughout the planning process Janine listened to all feedback if I wasn’t so sure about something and was able to change the itinerary accordingly. I 100% will be asking to work with Janine for my next trip as she was the most helpful and kind person I ever could have asked to work with! If you are looking to plan a trip to SE Asia, definitely consider working with Janine and without a doubt consider going to the Philippines!
