Accommodations at Tswalu consist of three distinctive camps, each providing a unique experience tailored to different types of travelers. The Motse are spacious suites, featuring an outdoor deck overlooking the open savannah and incorporating authentic Kalahari design elements. Loapi Tented Camp offers one- and two-bedroom tents crafted from canvas, glass, and steel. Each tent comes with a dedicated host and private chef for personalized service. Tarkuni Homestead is an exclusive homestead that accommodates up to 10 guests in five luxe bedrooms. How to get here

Situated in the remote northern reaches of South Africa's Northern Cape province, Tswalu Kalahari Reserve features its own private airstrip. Scheduled flights with Fireblade Aviation from Johannesburg or Cape Town take approximately 90 minutes. Private charters are also available for a bespoke travel experience. Upon arrival, guests are greeted and transferred directly to their chosen camp. Due to conservation efforts and the fragile ecosystem, self-driving within the reserve is not permitted.
