Fora‘s take

Pack light and take advantage of the daily laundry service since you'll go through multiple outfits each day with all the fitness activities—it's one of those hidden perks that lets you focus on the experience instead of overstuffing your suitcase.

Just an hour from New York City, The Ranch Hudson Valley is an exclusive wellness retreat situated on a historic lakefront estate once owned by J.P. Morgan. Set amidst 200 acres of forest and adjacent to 46,000 acres of protected parkland, this retreat features preserved 1900s architecture—with detailed stonework, wood interiors, expansive fireplaces, and intricate plaster ceilings.

Rooms and suites

With just 26 guest rooms, The Ranch Hudson Valley offers an intimate setting where custom upholstery, antique furnishings, and luxury linens create a comfortable retreat. Room options range from Petite Deluxe rooms with courtyard views and queen beds to Premier Junior Suites like the Morgan and Hamilton Suites, which feature lake or courtyard views, king beds, spacious bathrooms with double vanities, and historical features like original wood paneling. For guests who appreciate extra space and historical charm, the Premier Junior Suites provide a luxurious experience well-suited for couples or those celebrating special occasions.
