How to get here
Located in Costa Rica's Atlantic region, about 150 minutes from San José's Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), the lodge can be reached by several unique methods. Guests may choose to begin their adventure by rafting down the Pacuare River's rapids, surrounded by rainforest scenery. Alternatively, a scenic drive through Cartago and Turrialba, followed by a short 4x4 ride and a gondola crossing over the river, brings visitors directly to the lodge. For quicker access, a 25-minute private flight via Xplore Air to Guapiles Airport followed by a two-hour drive is available, or guests can arrive by helicopter, landing adjacent to the lodge with panoramic views en route. The lodge provides transfers from select San José hotels and can arrange tailored transportation.
