Londolozi, one of South Africa's original private game reserves, lies along the Sand River in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This family-run reserve has been pioneering ecotourism for nearly a century. The name means "Protector of All Living Things" in Zulu, reflecting its deep commitment to conservation, community, and nature. Covering 34,000 acres of wilderness, guests are guided by expert rangers and Shangaan trackers to experience some of Africa's finest Big Five game viewing. Londolozi is especially known for its exceptional leopard sightings, the result of fostering unique relationships with these elusive animals over decades. Nelson Mandela once called Londolozi "a model of the dream I cherish for the future of nature preservation in our country." Wildlife photographers and nature lovers seeking unparalleled leopard sightings will find Londolozi a perfect destination.
