The Great Outdoors
Great Smokey Mountains National Park boasts 150 hiking trails, including the original Appalachian trail. Waterfalls, wildlife and vistas await you around every corner. You can also take a scenic drive on Newfound Cap Road with many highlights along the way. You can opt to take a four mile hike to Ramses Cascades, the tallest waterfalls in the Smokies.
Back in town, pay a visit to the Gatlinburg Skypark and take the Skylift to the very top. Take in the views from the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America. A truly unforgettable experience!
Another great way to take in the abundance of nature is a rafting tour with award winning SMO Rafting. This family owned company offers the longest Whitewater trip on the Pigeon River.
This is way more than just a ski resort! Ober Mountain offers year round activities for all ages. In the warmer months, enjoy mountain biking, wildlife encounters, coaster, summer tubing, the alpine slide and more.
