Buckingham Palace - The official London home to the former Queen Elizabeth II. Make sure you check the schedule online to watch changing of the guards and get there early to get a good spot.

St. James Park - A beautiful park to walk through, have a picnic, or let the kids play on the playground.

Tower Bridge - Make sure to go up to the glass floor walkway that offers breathtaking panoramic views of London and the River Thames.

The South Bank and London Eye - Lovely spots along the River Thames that showcases London's art and culture. Take a ride on the London Eye and carousel while eating a delicious whippy from the ice cream truck.

Afternoon Tea - There are many magical places that you can experience this with your children. I would highly recommend splurging on the Peter Pan Tea at the Shard for astonishing views of London or taking a ride on the Peppa Pig Tea bus for a city tour on the double decker bus.

Hamleys - A toy store that has over 7 floors and is every child's dream! It is located in London's West End on Regent street.

Shrek's Adventure - An interactive experience for the entire family.

Notting Hill - Trendy area with cafes, markets, restaurants and unique boutiques. Check out the Portobello Road Market while you are there.

Day Trips

Take the Tube out to the quaint town of Richmond where you can head to Kew Gardens, take a rowboat out on the Thames or have a pint at the Ted Lasso bar.

The Ivy - Modern British cuisine with a stunning outdoor garden and an art deco vibe, this place is perfect for a lovely brunch. The Lady Marmalade spritz is a must try!

Peggy Porschen - A necessity for cupcake lovers. Not only are the cupcakes and desserts beautiful, they taste exquisite. The banoffee in bloom and the raspberry jammie are fantastic.

Borough Market - London's oldest market is a definite stop with so many options it is hard to choose what to eat. Kappacasein and Nana Fanny's are two special spots to try.
