Things to do in Juneau, Alaska

Hiking

If you're looking for some once in a lifetime views, look no further than Juneau's many trails. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just getting started, there's truly something for everybody. Our favorite is the West Glacier Trail, a 4 mile out and back trail that brings you along Mendenhall Lake and through the forest. It's a trek, but the views at the end are more than worth it!

Ziplining

Calling all thrill seekers! Alpine Adventures offers a zipline adventure through the forest on Douglas Island. We can say from experience there's no cooler way to explore the outdoors than to (literally) fly through them. They also let you try your hand at axe throwing at the end!

Twisted Fish Company Alaskan Grill: A casual fine dining experience with a surf and turf menu.

Alaskan Crepe Escape: Great for lunch or a quick bite.

Red Dog Saloon: A quirky, historic pub. If you're looking for a good time with locals and visitors alike, this is your spot!

Tracy's King Crab Shack: Known for their Jumbo King Crab legs!
