Day 1 & 2: Depart Seattle, WA & fun day at sea

A cruise ship on water

I couldn't contain my anticipation as we set sail from Seattle, Washington, beginning our thrilling Alaskan adventure. The first day on the ship was a whirlwind of excitement, offering a wide array of activities to keep us entertained. From hilarious comedy shows to engaging trivia contests, there was never a dull moment. And to my delight, luck was on my side as I won a $100 onboard credit to indulge in the spa. As we sailed towards Tracy Arm Fjord, a sense of eager anticipation filled the air, knowing that nature's awe-inspiring wonders awaited us.

Day 3: Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord

A glacier

The moment finally arrived as we entered Tracy Arm Fjord. The sight was nothing short of breathtaking - eagles soaring above, magnificent waterfalls cascading down, and the gleaming snow and ice surrounding us. Our captain skillfully guided us closer to the glaciers, revealing the mesmerizing translucency of the icebergs, glistening like diamonds in the sunlight. It was an otherworldly experience, immersing us in the beauty of Alaska's icy paradise.

Day 4: Icy Strait Point, AK

Crab legs served on a tray.

Stepping ashore in the morning at Icy Strait Point, our sense of adventure soared. We embarked on a thrilling Kayak Adventure, explored the captivating town of Hoonah, and savored a delightful lunch at the Crab House. The Canning Museum and charming shops offered us a glimpse into the rich culture and heritage of this Alaskan gem. It was a day filled with discoveries and unforgettable moments.

Day 5: Juneau, AK

A whale's tail in the sea

As we arrived in Juneau, the anticipation of encountering Alaska's wildlife and glaciers grew. Our Whales & Glacier VIP Rainforest excursion exceeded all expectations. We were treated to an up-close encounter with majestic humpback whales, witnessed the grandeur of glaciers, and reveled in the beauty of cascading waterfalls. Juneau truly immersed us in the pristine wilderness of Alaska.

Day 6: Ketchikan, AK

A street with cars parked in a row.

Morning brought us to the charming seaside town of Ketchikan, beckoning us to explore its vibrant shops and admire the awe-inspiring indigenous art and totem poles. The afternoon aboard the ship brought a lively carnival-themed party, where we embraced our playful side. From ring toss to darts and bean bag toss, we had a blast competing for fantastic prizes and making lasting memories.

Day 7: Victoria, BC, Canada

harbor of a seaside town

As the ship docked in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the city embraced us with its enchanting evening ambiance. Although it was a holiday (Victoria Day) and most shops were closed, we savored the opportunity to explore this beautiful city. The illuminated streets painted a picturesque backdrop, adding a touch of magic to our romantic evening before bidding farewell and heading back to Seattle in the morning.
