Things to do in Rome, Italy
Visit the secret Keyhole of Malta which has many people's absolute favorite view of the city.
The Orange Gardens for sunset (near the Keyhole of Malta). This is the most beautiful spot in all of Rome, Italy to see the sunset. Sometimes, you will even hear someone playing living music here!
Babingtons Tea Room for tea and people-watching. This tea room is historic and overlooks the Spanish Steps, which makes for great people-watching and a wonderful view!
Visit the Trevi fountain and marvel at one of the most iconic spots in all of Rome!
Explore Villa Borghese for an afternoon (go here for a walk, take a picnic lunch, or explore around the various areas around the park). The entire park is huge and I definitely recommend spending a lot of time here for a quiet and tranquil experience.
Have an authentic Roman dinner experience in a locals home (best thing I have done in Rome). This experience is like no other, and I can guarantee that you will have an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious, the people were so friendly, and the host Deborah was the kindest person I met in Rome!
Visit Vatican City and marvel at the amazing Sistine Chapel. This is a must-do when visiting Rome, especially for people who love history and art!
Visit the Roman Forum to see the incredible history that Rome has to offer, and make sure to climb the stairs to the top to see an amazing panoramic view!
Day Trips:
Tivoli for incredible views, gardens, and fountains.
Orvieto for a quaint medieval town that has authentic food and amazing medieval buildings that look straight out of a movie.
