Day 1: A taste of the locale

sunset on Greek island

Check into the hotel and unpack. Go for a dip in the pool and take in all the caldera views have to offer. Head to the town of Oia (if that is not where you are staying) and stroll through down, ending at the edge of town to walk down the path to Amoudi Bay. You will walk down about 300 steps to reach the bay within 15 minutes (Note: there is also a way to drive to the bay if the walking path is not possible for your group).

1PM: Head to Armeni Restaurant for a 1:30PM lunch booking. This taverna is on the water, just around the corner from all the Amoudi bay restaurants, but less touristy. As you wait for your taxi boat, admire the octopus hanging on the strings and picture yourself in the Mamma Mia or Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies. A taxi boat service will pick you up at Amoudi bay for your lunch reservation. Enjoy your first mediterranean lunch on the water with specialties like pita bread and tzatziki spreads, feta salad, grilled octopus and fish catch of the day. After lunch, head to sunbeds on the water to lay in the sun and go for a dip in the Aegean Sea.

8PM: Veranda Aperitivo Bar for sunset cocktails. Hang a glass of champagne or a cocktail overlooking the sunset views before dinner. On your way to dinner, stroll through the town of Oia at night when the magic comes alive.

9:30PM: For dinner head to the famous Ambrosia Restaurant for a unique and very typical romantic fine-dining Santorini experience.

Day 2: Hike from Oia to Fira

7AM: Wake up early and head out for a scenic hike from Oia to Fira which is a must to experience all Santorini has to offer. Alternatively, you could opt for a sunrise yoga session outdoors overlooking the caldera if hiking isn't your thing. After your exercise, enjoy a beautiful breakfast at your hotel overlooking the volcanic blue views. Spend the late-morning relaxing at the pool before heading to lunch.

1PM: Head to Metaxi Mas tavern in Exo Gonia for lunch (pretty close to Pyrgos).

4PM: In the afternoon, go for a sunset boat cruise through Sunset Oia - stopping at the small bay of Thirasia (full of traditional tavernas for dinner).

If looking for another fine dining experience vs. a traditional taverna, check out Selene in Pirgos for dinner.

Day 3: Beach day

Akro beach bar is a secret black pebble beach.

11AM: After breakfast, head to Perivolos beach (about 40 minutes from Oia) to SeaSide Beach Bar, which is on a well known black beach of Santorini. Here you can have lunch after enjoying the sea and black sand beaches on a sunbed.

For a similar, more private/romantic beach club option check out Akro Beach Bar

4PM: On your way back, stop at Domaine Sigalas for a wine tasting experience.

9PM: To finish your trip, enjoy a traditional taverna style tapas meal at Melitini Oia.
