Curator’s statement
Cape Cod holds a special place in my heart because it offers the perfect balance of romance, adventure, and restoration. The secluded beaches and cozy cottages gave us space to slow down, be present, and share intimate, unforgettable moments together. From biking along scenic trails to thrilling whale-watching excursions, every day brings a new kind of joy. The culture of Cape Cod, paired with the best seafood we’ve ever had, made us want to extend our trip because we couldn’t get enough!

Things to do on Cape Cod

Breakfast for two at Red Cottage Restaurant: This is the best breakfast spot on the island, a true hidden gem.
Bike the Shining Sea Bikeway: This route is parallel to the beach, landing you at the Nobska Lighthouse (the must-see lighthouse on The Cape).
Whale watching with Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch
Seal watching off the Chatham Fish Pier Viewing Deck.
Evening mocktails at the Chatham Bars Inn South Lounge Bar.
Enjoy dinner at Lobster Pot, Provincetown.
Places to eat & drink on Cape Cod

Lobster Pot, Provincetown, MA: The iconic, must visit and get a picture out front, seafood paradise! Located next to MacMillan Pier. I recommend getting the Stuffed Lobster and Oyster Rockefeller
Oyster Company, Dennis, MA: A hometown oyster bar. The perfect spot for a casual dinner when you’re craving seafood!
South Lounge Bar: Grab a mocktail and sit next to the fire with your loved one or out on the patio surrounded by colorful hydrangeas as you overlook the pristine coastline and Aunt Lydia’s Cove.
Flying Bridge Restaurant, Falmouth, MA: After a morning bike ride, visit Flying Bridge Restaurant. Surrounded by a marina and harbor views, enjoy fresh mouthwatering Sushi, seafood, or American cuisine. I recommend order the Sushi Pizza. I know what you're thinking, just trust me!
Need to know
If you’re like us and enjoy traveling in the off-season or shoulder season to miss the crowds and save a few extra bucks, I recommend planning your stay the week before Memorial Day. We loved having the entire Cape practically to ourselves. Every beach felt private, dinners even more secluded and romantic, traffic a breeze, and kept the overall cost of the trip significantly lower! Rates tend to increase starting around Memorial Day and extending through the summer. I'm also a sucker for cool mornings and warmer afternoons, so May weather was just what this Florida girl needed!
