Former hostel backpacker and workaway-er. I had never left the country or even flown before the age of 23. I am now 29 and have been to six countries and counting. It would've been more but I fell in love with Ireland and Scotland so I keep going back. Maybe it's the greenery, maybe it's the impeccably old buildings, maybe it's my ancestors calling out to me. Who knows, but I am always on the hunt for a quintessential cottage to stay in that is close enough to the cities to see the sights but far enough away that I can enjoy the landscape and rolling hills. Just trying to live my Jane Austen/Charlotte Bronte dream.
