My Story
I grew up with travel in my blood—the daughter of a pilot and a flight attendant, raised partly in Hong Kong and in Canada, and shaped by a career spent in luxury hospitality across California, New Orleans, Singapore, and beyond. That background, combined with a meticulous eye for detail and a genuine love for the craft of a well-planned trip, is what I bring to every itinerary I build.
Travel Style
I’ve backpacked through Vietnam and sipped Champagne on the Amalfi Coast, and I’m equally at home planning both. My range spans budget-savvy adventures to white-glove luxury, and everything in between. I have a particular depth of knowledge when it comes to North America and Southeast Asia, but my passion for travel doesn’t stop there.
My years in luxury hotel management—including properties like the Malibu Beach Inn and Ojai Valley Inn—gave me an insider’s understanding of what elevated hospitality actually looks like and how to advocate for it on your behalf. Lauren did an amazing job with our trip planning. She was very detailed and very timely whenever we had a question. We enjoyed all the excursions she booked and having her help with planning really made our trip so much more enjoyable. She even sent us notifications when our flights had a gate change. Amazing! This is the first time I have used a travel advisor as I have always planned my own trips. Lauren's attention to detail was flawless and I have to say that we are now using her for another 18 day trip in the fall of 2026 for a river cruise and the Dolomiti! She listened to our guide lines as far as price ranges went - we loved every hotel we stayed in as we toured Portugal and the restaurant selections she gave us were fantastic as well. Anne Williamson
