I had the best long weekend exploring Mexico City! A last-minute solo trip turned into one of my favorite getaways of the year. It was the perfect mix of wandering through vibrant neighborhoods and parks, browsing unique shops, and eating so many incredible tacos and meals. If you’re a foodie, this city is a must-visit! I walked everywhere (much needed after all that eating!) and never ran out of things to see, do, or taste. Already counting down until I can go back!

Looking for a quick weekend getaway? Fire Island is the perfect escape! Just hop on the LIRR from NYC, connect to the shuttle right outside the Bay Shore station, and catch the ferry over to Ocean Beach (or one of the other villages). In under two hours, you’ll arrive in the car-free beach town where you can relax on the sand, enjoy fresh seafood, and dance along to live music. It is the perfect New York weekend getaway with your friends or family.

The Cottages at the Nantucket Boat Basin made my trip unforgettable! Charming, comfortable, and right on the water, the property is steps from town’s best spots and filled with thoughtful touches like stocked fridges, bike rentals, and complimentary shuttles. Thailand had always been a dream destination for me, and I can confidently say it lived up to the hype. I went to Casa de Campo for a bachelorette party, and it was truly the perfect setting. Our villa was gorgeous—spacious, comfortable, and ideal for a group. We spent our days hanging by the pool and enjoying incredible lunches and dinners from our private chef (seriously recommend splurging on the chef!). Getting around in golf carts made everything easy and added a fun, resort-y vibe. We relaxed at Minitas Beach, did a little shopping, and had the best private boat day with snorkeling, drinks, and a dance party on deck. At night, we went out for cocktails at the resort nightclub—there’s truly something for everyone. What I loved most about Casa de Campo is how versatile it is. It was perfect for a bachelorette, but I could totally see coming here for a family trip or even a guys' weekend with the next-level golf courses. One of the most unforgettable trips I’ve ever taken was a safari in Kenya. I thought it would be amazing to see lions, elephants, giraffes, and more close to nature. But the reality was much better than I expected. My safari guide shared profound insights into the animals, their endangered status, the circle of life, and the richness of Kenyan culture. Beginning in Nairobi, I ventured to three reserves across Kenya. I enjoyed exhilarating morning and evening game drives and experienced the breathtaking landscape from above in a hot air balloon ride. I learned about the Maasai Village through their personal stories. The experience left an everlasting impression on me.
