My Story
A citizen of the world with one foot in NYC and one foot at JFK who has tried wine and/or coffee in fifty-six and counting countries.
Travel Style
As both a former and current backpacker, I'm always looking for ways to incorporate my intersection of interests as not only a foodie, but a current high school history teacher. I relish in exploring the history and culture of a new place through the lens of food and wine. My motto is to know a place not only by the sights, but by its taste. Whether I've been to Buenos Aires or Cape Town, a hostel or Airbnb, I have created numerous itineraries and opportunities to learn about a culture and community through its food and customs.
My extensive traveling started at nineteen years old, and since then I have collected a recipe from every one of the fifty-six countries I have been to so far. Often, even during a cooking class. I am best at finding local gems and local people to connect you with and can cater any location to any budget. Also, I am known for making the most of an extended layover (example: 36 hours in Beijing).

Booking with Alexii was an absolute dream! She found us truly amazing places to stay in Auckland, Queenstown, Wellington, and even in the random towns in central Otago that we needed to stay in because of our cycling adventure. Alexii truly went above and beyond to make sure that we had a honeymoon perfectly tailored to us. She found us bike rentals after our research fell flat, she identified the perfect Onsen hot pool experience to help us recover after three days of very difficult riding, and she went through every possible Milford Sound experience with us to make sure we found the right one for us. From start to finish, Alexii was thorough, supportive, enthusiastic, and we knew we were in great hands. Our honeymoon was the trip of a lifetime and we're deeply grateful to everything Alexii did to make that possible!!

Alexii was amazing and helped us out throughout our process. She even got us a little snack tray from the hotel. She helped us switch places, she was right that we should have stayed at the Eliza Jane though. My one regret in booking with Alexii is that I didn’t listen to her about that. Would use her again!
