Curator’s statement

Bula Bula! (means wishing you life and health.) Turtle Island in Fiji is the most romantic place I have ever been. Nestled centrally in the Yasawa archipelago. Crystal blue waters and an amazing staff await your welcome. The perfect spot for a honeymoon or any other reason to celebrate love! Located on the famous Blue Lagoon, Turtle Island welcomes up to 14 couples max and is a truely private and spectacular. Fijian style bures are cozy, beautiful and are beachfront. Bure Mama's are assigned to your bure and are available 24 hours a day to make your holiday extra special. This is an all inclusive tropical resort and they are a Sea and Farm to table. Recognized by Travel and Leisure readers "Best Food in Fiji". Fijian Lifestyle awaits! Enjoy learning about the Fijian people and their culture. Fijians believe friends are family and you will be treated with their welcoming hospitality and utter kindness. Savor all the activities on the island. You can relax on your private beach for lunch everyother day on one of the 12 private beaches. Indulge in the snorkling, diving, paddleboarding, windsurfing or mountain biking, just to name a few. Evenings are special from nightly gourmet dinner parties or have a private dinner in the water. Kava ceremonies take place and it is a great way to learn the Fijian culture and get to know the locals. Turtle Island has hands down was my most favorite vacation ever. Meeting amazing people, eating localy grown fresh fruits and veggies and attending a church service with the local staff was truely an experience. Turtle Island makes it hard to leave. Bula Bula!
