Curator’s statement
Zion National Park is a beautiful national park that allows you to escape your everyday hustle and bustle and connect to nature. The small town of Springdale right outside the park has many local eateries and breweries for you to relax after a day of hiking within the park. Zion is family-friendly and great for couples trips, girls' trips or trips with those who love to hike and enjoy a beer afterward. The local camping grounds allow for a different experience from a hotel, but the hotels are perfectly located in the center of all of the restaurants and bars.

Hikes in Zion
The Narrows - Unforgettable experience hiking through the mountains. It's an out-and-back hike up to 8 hours and 9.4 miles.
Angels Landing - This life-changing hike shook my boyfriend and me and changed our perspective on hiking. You have to buy a pass to access the hike because numbers are limited, but this was so worth it!
Upper Emerald Pools - This hike was a little over an hour and a bit over two miles. It leads to the emerald pools and allows you to stop at the middle and lower levels, which adds a bit more time to the hike, but it is so worth it! My boyfriend and I ate a packed lunch at the upper emerald pools and had the best day.
Sandbeach Trail - This trail was more laid back but lead to the Zion Lodge which was a great place to grab food and drinks while in the park.

Breakfast
Meme's Cafe - They have the best breakfast options in Springdale! From crepes to omelets, they have it all.
Lunch
Camp Outpost Co. - The tacos and margaritas were to die for! This is one of the lunch choices that is efficient and high quality which allows for you to catch a shuttle back into the entrance of the park so you can do multiple hikes in a day.
Dinner
Spotted Dog - They have a wide variety of options and allow you to sit at the bar while you wait to get seated for dinner! The outside views of the canyon are absolutely breathtaking!
Whiptail Grill - This is a laid-back spot for a casual dinner. Wings and burgers are popular here.
Casa de Amigos - This Mexican spot was my favorite! Their guacamole and tacos were out of this world. They are an authentic Mexican spot and their flavors were amazing.
Drinks
Salted Dog - The bar here was super fun and a change from what the other locations had. it was a bit more upscale and allowed me and my boyfriend to dress up which was nice because we were celebrating my birthday. It was a nice change of pace to get out of our hiking boots and dirty clothes!
ZionCanyon Brew Pub - This local brewpub always hit the spot! They have indoor and outdoor dining - the outdoor area is laid-back and connected to the tap bar where you order and then self-seat. After a long day of hiking, this was really nice and refreshing!
Snacks
Happy Camper Market - They have all different accommodations for snacks and prepackaged meals. I'm vegan and found shopping here super easy!
