Things to do in Round Top, Texas

Blue Hills
Blue Hills
One of the cutest areas to spend an afternoon. Blue Hills offers a mix of great food, drinks, and a beautifully curated shopping experience. You’ll find well-known brands alongside stunning antique furniture and unique home pieces—an easy place to linger longer than planned.
The Arbors
Home to hundreds of curated vendors from all over the world, The Arbors is a must-visit. Stroll through the endless booths to discover clothes, jewelry, art, and so much more! You’ll also find an excellent selection of food trucks, coffee trucks, and snacks to refuel between tents.
The Compound
This 57 acre event destination features barn-inspired architecture and park-like setting, complete with lush gardens, winding pathways, fountains, and gazebos. We packed a picnic lunch one day and ended up staying for hours, listening to live music, playing a little mahjong, and taking in all the beautiful art and homewares. You’ll also find snacks, coffee, and plenty of shaded spots to relax.
Market Hill
Browse through some of the best antiques dealers in the U.S. alongside numerous artisans crafting art, furniture, sculptures, clothing, and jewelry. This event venue is the spot to go if it’s hot outside as it features air-conditioned permanent buildings, clean restrooms, easy loading areas, plenty of free parking and of course, a bar and restaurant.
Bader Ranch
A favorite stop for European antiques, mid-century modern pieces, interior furnishings, and fashion. With live music, food, and drinks, it feels more like an event than a market. We came looking for one specific brand and left with a list of new favorites we had never heard of before.
Excess Fields
Great for treasure hunters. Expect a mix of antique finds, home goods both big and small, and a wide range of prices. This is a fun place to dig around and see what you discover.
Marburger Farm Antique Show
A Round Top classic. Spanning 40+ acres, Marburger offers a huge variety of vendors, from high-end European antiques to more affordable vintage finds. Add in live music, food, and drinks, and you could easily spend half a day here alone.
Fields of Warrenton
Be prepared to dig through some piles to find your treasures! This is the area where you can get some of the best deals, but it does take a bit of effort and is not quite the curated experience of some other areas.
Zapp Hall
Known for its lively atmosphere and unique dealers, Zapp Hall is full of antiques, art, and collectibles you won’t see anywhere else. There’s usually live music, great food, and it’s also famous for its festive Prom Night, a longtime Round Top tradition.
Junk Gypsy
Part flea market, part boutique, part cowgirl dream. Expect fun vintage finds, western flair, and plenty of personality. Even if you don’t buy anything, it’s worth stopping in.
Storefronts in Downtown Round Top
Don’t skip the shops in town. Townsend is known for its incredible collection of vintage boots, and Courtney Barton is the place to go for beautifully curated, high-end finds.
