My Story
A returned Peace Corps Volunteer with champagne taste on a beer budget. I like to plan my next destination while on the last day of my current one.
My Travel Style
I lived in a remote village without running water or electricity during my time with the Peace Corps. I’ve since acquired a taste for a comfortable bed and ‘Do Not Disturb’ door tag. If I travel twice to the same place, then it’s either because of how amazing it was or because I couldn’t do it all in one visit. My ideal adventure day is waking up early for a long hike, finding a unique adventure like abseiling a waterfall and ending with a beautiful sunset vista on the way to pizza and beer.

Wild and Wonderful Guide on the Big Island
The Big Island has it all! As one of the most remote, inhabited island chains in the world, the Hawaiian Islands are a beautiful retreat to see the best of a tropical paradise. The islands themselves are as beautiful as they are diverse - but the Big Island (called that because its name is the same as the state: Hawai'i) is the most adventurous and enchanting. It's laid back, vast, full of hidden spots and secluded beaches, and has some of the most unique natural landscapes and features found anywhere in the world. Where else in the world can you go and experience 8 of the 13 climate zones on one single island?

The Scenic Route to Acadia National Park
Vactionland, USA is a well-deserved nick name for the Pine Tree State. While it might be appealing to fly in as close to Bar Harbor as possible to start your trip - the lure of Maine is being able to stop in small towns between Portland and Mount Desert Island to take in all that this beautiful coastal state has to offer. With lobster greeting you on the menu at every restaurant, it's not absurd to consider ordering it at every meal. Maine offers a destination that is long on adventure and short on "been there, seen that" attitudes.
