As a retired Financial Planner, I now turn my attention to my newest passion… world travel. What made me successful in one career now drives me toward the same goals for my newest. Travel style
I prefer putting together an itinerary that offers quality not quantity. Quality does not equal expensive but means knowing when to use private guides or be part of a small, intimate group. At other times, a self-guided tour is appropriate. For those that want to tick off a list, there are plenty of hop-on-hop-off and city-wide tour buses. Being able to learn new facts and learning the history of what you are experiencing brings a greater sense of satisfaction during and (most importantly) after your trip.
