My Story
I love to travel here, there and everywhere — but especially Italy, and anywhere that makes me feel like I either don't have kids with me, or that doesn't actually allow children at all :)
My Travel Style
Nothing but the best, but I always prefer to feel like I'm staying at my rich aunt's villa rather than the "grande dame" of a destination.

72 Hours in Venice
Venice is one of those cities that ticks all the boxes — there's culture, art, fantastic food, even more fantastic hotels. It's a true "city" break but has a feeling of not being a real city, perhaps because you're surrounded by water. There's so much to do, that you could easily be there for a week and not see or do everything, but here are some of my top tips.

The Lesser-Known Cycladic Islands
Oh, Mykonos, you've always have my heart but overtourism got you bad. Last summer, I spent 2 weeks on the neighboring island Paros, which has similar vibes to Mykonos, albeit, far more off the beaten path. No Zuma or Cipriani, Louis Vuitton nor people arriving by heli from their yachts 50 yards away into Nammos. This year, I went to also check out the neighboring island to Paros- Antiparos- and my bet is that in the coming years. Antiparos will become the new Mustique of the Med. Tom Hanks already owns a home here, and we know other celebs and HNW people are coming here to rent the beautiful homes and enjoy the turquoises waters and unspoiled beaches.

Hiking the Dolomites
The Dolomites is one of the most underrated and special destinations I've been to in recent years- it offers a great mix of culture, food & wine, and the great outdoors. The Dolomites are also great for skiing in the winter, but summer is my chosen season because the colors are so vivid at that time of year- the towns are quiet and peaceful and the hiking trails are just screaming for you to walk them. Even though this region is technically part of Italy, it has it's own distinct mountain culture (Sud-Tirolese)- for most people, Italian is really their second language. But this just makes for an incredible cross cultural experience that mixes really well if you're planning to make the Dolomites a stop on a longer European or Italian itinerary. I can't wait for you to explore it!

Nadine's Favorite Amalfi Coast Hot Spots
Amalfi is one of those places on everyone's bucket lists, and then once you go- you're hooked forever. The scent of lemon everywhere, the taste of spaghetti al vongole, iced white wines, it's tough to beat una vera Estate Italiana anywhere else in the world. And of course, here we have some of the top hotels in Italy, let alone Europe. From small boutique hotels to true grand dames, here are my top picks.
