Travel Style
Since I was a little kid, my heart has been full of wanderlust. Travel is the one thing that makes me feel truly alive. I love to explore new places (close to home or a 20-hour flight away) and immerse myself in different cultures. Whether it’s eating my way through Italy or getting lost on the streets of Tokyo, I’m always up for an adventure. With 50+ countries under my belt (and a stint living abroad in India), I am fortunate to have traveled extensively for both work and pleasure. Now, I want to share my ‘off the beaten path’ travel knowledge with you and help you plan your dream trip.

Yet another great travel experience with Merry! This was the perfect mix of cultural experiences (for mom) and fun experiences (for kid). As a busy single working mom, having someone I trust take care of everything for our trips has been a lifesaver!

We had an incredible experience working with Meredith Lerner to plan our trip to Riviera Maya — and she pulled it together on very short notice! She gave us a great range of hotel and destination options to choose from, and once we booked, she took care of every detail, including making sure our dietary needs were communicated ahead of time. She even gave us a heads-up that the spa would be closed for construction during our stay, so there were no surprises when we arrived. Throughout the trip, she checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, and she was always quick to respond whenever we reached out. It’s rare to find someone this attentive and reliable, especially for a last-minute trip. We’d recommend her to anyone looking for an stress-free, well-planned getaway or vacation. She is the only Travel advisor that we will use as she pays attention to every detail and is always reachable!

Meredith is a rare mix of hospitable, communicative, and helpful. From the beginning of working with her, she made our lives so easy. First off she knows all of the best hotels and secondly she has a straight line of communication with different service providers such as personal drivers, restaurant tours, hoteliers, and different local connections wherever you are. I will only ever work with Meredith ever again. She planned out a 15-day Sicilian travel itinerary for my sister and I and took away all of the worry and concern around this big trip. She is simply the best.

Meredith could not have made this trip easier. An excellent selection of hotels and experiences that matches our tastes and budget. She is excellent to work with and I love not having to do the research ahead of time, knowing how much I trust Meredith.

Ubud has so much to offer and can be quite overwhelming. Meredith set us up with the best guide and driver. Our cycling tour was so memorable and each day was curated to us perfectly. I absolutely love working with Meredith and will continue to.

Ischia, Italy: The 4-Day Itinerary I Planned for Myself
Have you been to Ischia? If not, let me be the first to tell you: this volcanic island in the Gulf of Naples needs to go straight to the top of your Italy list. I’ll be honest with you: I was a little torn about writing this guide. Ischia has a special quality that makes you want to keep it to yourself. But it’s too good not to share. Here’s the thing about Ischia. Most people who visit Italy head to the greatest hits, like Rome, Florence, Venice, and maybe the Amalfi Coast. And those destinations are all wonderful. But Ischia? Ischia is what happens when you go one step further. It’s lush, volcanic, deeply local, and completely intoxicating. And unlike its glamorous neighbor Capri, which dazzles but crowds quickly, Ischia is a place where you can actually breathe. I recommend a minimum of four days on the island. Here is exactly how I would spend them.

A Weekend in Milan: The Perfect 48-Hour Itinerary
Milan is one of those cities that rewards the traveler who looks beyond the obvious. Yes, there’s the Duomo, the fashion, the aperitivo culture, but Milan is also a city of quiet courtyards, world-class art tucked behind unmarked doors, and neighborhoods that feel a million miles from the tourist trail. Here is exactly how I’d spend a long weekend in this fashion-forward city.

Everything To See and Do in Cape Town, South Africa
This is my second time visiting Cape Town, South Africa, and this most recent trip cemented what I always thought—that Cape Town is one of the most visually breathtaking cities in the world. Nestled between dramatic mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, the city offers stunning views no matter which way you look. But this only begins to describe all that this coastal city at the tip of Africa has to offer. Whether your interests are cultural, food, and wine oriented, or you're passionate about the outdoors, Cape Town has it all. Keep reading for my top recommendations of everything to see, do, and where to eat and drink in the city that has captured my heart.

Your Perfect Long Weekend in Cartagena, Colombia
Cobblestone streets. Colorful colonial architecture. Fragrant coffee. Street art, lively bars and restaurants and music clubs where you can dance the night away. Fresh seafood and ceviche. Island beaches and sunset boat rides. What is this place? It's Cartagena, the charming Colombian city on the Caribbean coast, steeped in history and culture and running on Latin rhythm.

How to Spend 5 Days in Mexico City
Have you been to Mexico City? If not, you need to add it to your travel list immediately! Not only is it a relatively easy destination to travel to from the States, but it’s also a city full of culture, history, art and incredible food. Combine that with year-round mild weather, and you have the makings of a perfect trip. Mexico City is a destination that is easy to do over a long weekend. Three full days will be plenty of time to get to know the city. (I will warn you, though — once you discover everything this city offers, you will want to return to experience more!). Keep reading for the 5-day itinerary I recently planned for myself and a group of friends to celebrate my birthday.

The Ultimate Skiing Guide for Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Jackson Hole is one of the premiere ski resorts in the country, and I recommend it to everyone who asks me where to ski or snowboard out west!
Why? Because the Jackson Hole Ski Resort does it right, they understand hospitality and the importance of creating a seamless experience for their guests.
The best way they do this is by limiting the number of skiers on the mountain each day. This means no lift lines or crowded trails. Combine all this with challenging and technical terrain, along with epic views (you are in the Grand Tetons, after all!) and you have the makings of an incredible ski or snowboarding trip.
Curious to know more about all that Jackson Hole has to offer? Keep reading to discover why this mountain town should be where you book your next ski trip.

Enjoy the Magic of Fall in Boston, Massachusetts
Boston in the fall is a magical experience. Thanks to the vibrant foliage that paints the city in rich reds, oranges and yellows. The weather is typically crisp and pleasant.
